  2. Walking tours of Port Costa start at 12:30 PM and run for 30 minutes. Tours start at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30. Meet 5 minutes before at the Canned Ham / Vintage Trailer Park. Long time resident, Suzanne Statler, will lead the tour and answer the question of "how does a town like this exist?" History, town characters and a few scandals. About Port Costa: The town with a population of only about 200 people, is nestled in a canyon surrounded on 3 sides by East Bay Regional Park & Ranchland and the 4th side is the water of the Carquinez Straits.

Located between the Crockett and Martinez in Northwest Contra Costa County, it is an eclectic, artistic, uncommon and kind of amazing destination. Please come to visit and learn about our town and enjoy the day!

Parking is available downtown at the end of Canyon Lake Drive. Alternate parking may be at the Historic 1911 Schoolyard.
